Attorney F. Clayton Tyler
Attorney Tyler takes pride in his track record in suppressing illegally-obtained evidence. His experience handling most types of cases, including assault, DUI/DWI, theft, and white collar crime, coupled with his approach of comprehensive legal research and hard work has earned him a great deal of respect in the legal community.
A lifelong Minneapolis resident from North Minneapolis, Attorney Tyler is dedicated to the Twin Cities community. He serves as the Chair of the Board for Minneapolis Public Housing. He is on the board of directors of a large insurance company, and is on the University of Minnesota’s Diversity Task Force. He has previously served as Chair of the Board of the Minneapolis Urban League, as President of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers, and he founded and is currently the President of the Minnesota Minority Junior Golf Association, an inner-city golf program.
Attorney Karen Mohrlant
Attorney Mohrlant graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law and summa cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College. During law school, she clerked at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, and before coming to F. Clayton Tyler, P.A., she clerked at both the Hennepin County District Court and the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Attorney Mohrlant has experience with most areas of criminal defense, including impaired driving (DWI/DUI), drug cases, domestic assault, theft, and drivers license violations. She enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the GLBT community, military veterans, and individuals with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Attorney Mohrlant takes pride in listening to clients and tailoring representation to each client’s unique needs and goals.
